Jeffrey is a determined man who works hard to achieve his goals for the community around him. He graduated from the Theta Alpha Chapter at the University of Southern Mississippi where he earned his undergraduate and graduate degrees. Before graduating with his master’s degree, he was elected to serve on the Hattiesburg City Council to represent approximately 9,000 people in his district. Following his graduation, he began working as the Director of Marketing & Business Development at Mike Rozier Construction Company. In this position, his responsibilities included marketing, business and client development and company growth strategy. After a year and a half in this position he was asked to take on more responsibilities with another entity, RM Development Group where he is a Development Project Manager. In 2019, he was one of 20 young professionals selected to be a part of Leadership Pinebelt which is the local chamber of commerce’s leadership development program. He is most proud of being elected to City Council at the age of 23. His dedication to the community shows through his actions as a council member. He has been able to work to prioritize funding projects in neighborhoods in his district and secure state funding for multiple projects that will improve street quality and sidewalk/pedestrian access around The University of Southern Mississippi. With the fraternity, he is very active and serves as a chapter advisor and is a member of his alumni chapter. Additionally, he serves on the Greek Life Advisory Committee at the University of Southern Mississippi. Outside of his Greek life involvement, he is on the Board of Directors for the United Way of Southeast Mississippi. His credits his experience in Pi Kappa Phi in playing a major role in preparing him for the career he has today. While an active member, he gained valuable experience on how to work together with a group of men to focus on bettering the fraternity.
