Daniel has established himself as a driven professional in the accounting world with a desire to help others succeed. He was a Re-Founding Father initiated in the Epsilon Gamma chapter at Longwood University. Immediately upon graduation, he started his career in public accounting as an auditor where he was successful in recruiting and business development as well; he was able to bring his firm to a job fair at his alma mater to help other Longwood students have the same opportunities as him. Since then he has had the opportunity to master several skills such as financial reporting, technical accounting and operational accounting and finance. These skills brought him to his current position of Senior Manager at BGS Consulting to lead business development efforts and grow the company’s market presence and brand. Throughout his career he has always participated in business development and enjoyed building relationships. Connecting with people has always been a passion for him. He values getting his Eagle Scout as his most proud accomplishment and is constantly networking among other Eagle Scouts and meeting brothers who also are Eagle Scouts. In his community, he is an active member of his Knights of Columbus chapter, helping raise money for charities in the area. He acknowledges that Pi Kappa Phi helped him learned valuable leadership skills which he is eager to pass along to other brothers. He frequently returns to Longwood to visit his chapter to mentor brothers and offer career advice and helped coordinate his chapter’s recent 40th anniversary celebration. He believes the values of personal responsibility and accountability stick with him the most.
