Anthony is a dedicated advocate, volunteer and community leader. Since obtaining his Master of Social Work, he has worked at the County of Los Angeles Department of Children and Family Services as a Children’s Social Worker where he is responsible for the supervision and placement of minors in need of protective services due to abuse, neglect or exploitation. A particularly satisfying part of his work is being involved in family adoption which entails working with the minor, the natural parents and the adoptive parents. Anthony is proud of this award as he continues to strive to be a role model for his cousins and other children growing up in the inner city to show them that life, learning and opportunities extend far outside their immediate neighborhoods. Anthony currently serves as the chapter advisor for the Eta Eta chapter and serves on the Pi Kapp Pride Board. When asked about his experience in Pi Kappa Phi he said, “it taught me to be a good leader and how Men of Class can make positive impact when working with others and ultimately assisting in helping to make the world a better place.”
