From the beginning, Pi Kappa Phi has been led by extraordinary men. Because of that leadership, we have prospered in good times and persevered during difficult ones. The Council of Archons is a student advisory board to the National Council and serves as a liaison between undergraduate chapters and the national fraternity. The group consists of 12 undergraduate members who are current or past archons.

Antonio Marquez, Kappa Mu (UC-Merced)
Antonio Marquez was born and raised in Los Angeles, California and currently attends the University of California of Merced. He is studying Management and Business Economics, and had the opportunity to join Pi Kappa Phi’s Kappa Mu chapter as part of its beta associate member class. In joining this group of brothers, Marquez said that he has developed leadership skills that led to him becoming the current Archon of the Kappa Mu chapter.
Brian Shanley, Gamma Epsilon (Western Carolina)
Brian Shanley and is a senior at Western Carolina University. He is studying Integrated Health Sciences and is hoping to go to graduate school after graduation to study physical therapy. He loves watching baseball and spending time on the lake.
Carter Rusch, Alpha Delta (Washington)
Carter Rusch was born and raised in Kirkland, Washington and is coming up on his senior year at the University of Washington. He is studying Business Administration with a focus in Finance and is currently interning as a Financial Analyst and hopes to start his career in a corporate finance position. As a member of the Alpha Delta Chapter he has served in many committee-level positions, in addition terms on the Executive Council as Chaplain and presently as Archon. His interests outside of the fraternity include weight-lifting, sports, and getting outside when the Seattle weather allows.
Charles Peterson, Kappa Nu (Sonoma State)
Charles Peterson is a senior at Sonoma State University where he majors in Geography Environmental Planning. He is originally from San Bruno, CA located just outside of San Francisco. Since joining Pi Kappa Phi in Spring of 2018 he has served on his campus’ IFC executive board as the Vice President, Standards Chair, and is currently the Archon of the Kappa Nu chapter. Charles has been part of the Order of Omega since the Spring of 2020. He enjoys videography, scuba diving, and golf.
Chris Bridgers, Alpha Iota (Auburn)
Chris Bridgers is from Marietta, Georgia and goes to Auburn University. He has been a Pi Kapp since Fall 2017, and has served as treasurer and Archon. He also serves on the IFC Judicial Board for Auburn and is planning to attend law school after graduation, starting Fall 2021.
Erik Wilson, Omega (Purdue)
Erik Wilson is from Cleveland, Ohio and currently serves as the Archon of the Omega Chapter at Purdue University and am in my junior year of Computer Engineering with a minor in Economics and a certificate in Entrepreneurship and Innovation. He is a big fan of all Cleveland sports teams, and the Browns the most.
MacKewin Powell, Epsilon Beta (Grand Valley State)
MacKewin (Mack) Powell is the Archon for the Epsilon Beta Chapter at Grand Valley State University, just west of Grand Rapids. He is currently a junior majoring in biochemistry and minoring in business. After his time at GVSU he plans on attending dental school to become an orthodontist. His hometown is Frankfort, Michigan. During the summertime he enjoys working at the Crystal Lake Yacht Club and hanging out with friends.
Michael Blackwell, Iota Eta (Embry-Riddle)
Michael Blackwell is Archon of the Pi Kappa Phi, Iota Eta Chapter at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Prescott, Arizona. He was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois and moved to San Antonio, Texas where his family resides. He has 3 brothers, with one being a twin, and belongs to a family representing a diverse group of fraternities including Alpha Phi Alpha, Kappa Alpha Psi, Sigma Lambda Beta, Delta Sigma Theta and more. He is currently studying Aerospace Engineering, graduating in December 2020 and hoping to continue his career with NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland.
Patrick Conway, Delta Psi (Texas-Arlington)
Patrick Conway grew up in McKinney, Texas and attends the University of Texas at Arlington for Marketing. He enjoyed playing high school and travel ice hockey. Both teams went to Nationals for being the best in the state of Texas, and said this sport, it enabled him to develop leadership skills and teamwork abilities. He had the opportunity to be a re-founding father to the Delta Psi chapter and currently serves as the Archon.
Robert Sattler, Iota Epsilon (Susquehanna)
Robert Sattler is the current Archon of the Iota Epsilon chapter at Susquehanna University and is pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science while minoring in math. He has been a member of Pi Kappa Phi since my freshman year and have previously served his chapter as Warden for a term and a half. Since taking two leadership positions within the fraternity, he has grown as a person and a leader with his brothers at his side.
Tommy Camino, Delta Upsilon (Pittsburgh)
Tommy Camino is from Delta Upsilon chapter at the university of Pittsburgh. He is a junior majoring in marketing and supply chain management with a certificate in leadership and ethics. Post-college he hopes to become a computer software or technology startup salesmen and eventually move on to law school.
William Digmon, Gamma Phi (South Alabama)
William Digmon is a senior at the University of South Alabama, majoring in Business Management. Originally from Montgomery, Alabama, Will transferred to South Alabama from Huntingdon where he played football. Upon arriving at South Alabama, Will joined the Gamma Phi Chapter of Pi Kappa Phi, where he has served at the Vice Archon and the current Archon. In Will’s leisure time he enjoys golf and camping.
