Andrew King
Delta Upsilon (Pittsburgh)
After earning a BS in Bioinformatics in 2013, Andrew went directly to graduate school for Biomedical Informatics at the University of Pittsburgh. He received a wide array of accolades and awards including, National Library of Medicine predoctoral fellow, Teaching assistant for Symbolic Methods in Artificial Intelligence, and an Intern for the Center for Health Informatics for the Underserved in Malawi, Africa. He earned his Ph.D. in 2018 and went on to become a postdoctoral scholar in Critical Care Informatics at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. During his time in undergraduate, he participated as a cyclist in the 2012 Journey of Hope – North Route. Andrew now serves as an Alumni and Chapter Advisor to the Delta Upsilon chapter, President of the Housing Corporation and a Member of the 77 Society. Andrew’s incredible experiences within the Fraternity have helped usher his professional successes.
