Mark Agate

Since graduating, Mark has gone on to work for both NASA Langley and NASA Johnson Space Center. While not working, he spends his time attending graduate school at the University of Arizona pursuing his Ph.D. where he has received a College of Engineering Graduate College Fellowship. While at NASA Langley, he participated on the flight testing of a 52 lbs novel unmanned aerial vehicle designed for long endurance missions and also assisted with the design of an unmanned aerial system to complete scouting missions on Mars. At NASA Johnson, he worked on writing and developing software for Orion, the next NASA manned space capsule. In addition to obtaining his pilot license, Mark also participates on advising unmanned aerial systems student teams through weekly technical reviews.
