Daniel Gogue

Since graduating from American University, Daniel has served in the United States Army as an Armor Officer specializing in the tactical employment of Tank and Reconnaissance Platoons. Immediately following his graduating, Daniel attended the Armor Basic Officer Leaders Course (ABOLC) at Fort Benning, GA where he graduated in the top 25% of his class on the Commander’s List. After, Daniel moved to Fort Carson, Colorado where he took charge of a Tank Platoon consisting of 16 Soldiers and 4 M1A2 Abrams tanks. After a year of training and a 9-month deployment to Kuwait, he was selected above 17 other Platoon Leaders to take over the Battalion Reconnaissance Platoon where he was charged with leading over 40 Soldiers specializing in intelligence collection on the battlefield. After later graduating from the Maneuver Captains Career Course, Daniel took charge of a team of 30 Soldiers and Officers tasked with leading the month-long field exercise certifying junior Armor Officers prior to graduation from ABOLC where every other month he, along with his team, instruct a cohort of 76-second lieutenants in maneuver warfare. Throughout his time serving in the United States Army, Daniel has received two Army Commendation Medals, two Army Achievement Medals, and was named the Fort Carson Junior Officer of the Year.
