Servant Leadership

Service Before Self

Servant leadership is a lifelong journey, and we believe that true leaders emerge when they lift others up. We empower the men of Pi Kappa Phi to embrace hands-on service and see firsthand the incredible difference they can make.

Through relationship-based experiences with The Ability Experience, War of the Roses and volunteer partnerships that serve individuals within the disability community, our members don’t just fundraise or volunteer – they grow into compassionate, confident leaders who listen, learn and lead with empathy. They see the world through new eyes, realizing that leadership isn’t just about influence but about lifting others.

“Some will tell you that The Ability Experience is about Pi Kapp and its brothers making an impact. And it is. But for me, I also realized we don’t just help our friends in the disability community. The Ability Experience is about helping all of us and allowing all of us to grow so that when we go out in the world and meet people of all abilities, we can help. We can support. We can lead with empathy. It’s an amazing thing to be a part of when you’re a college student, but you’ll never understand the impact it can have on you until you’re even further removed and realize, ‘Wow, that’s where my life changed.’”
