Chad A. Coltrane Philanthropy Chair of the Year Award

This award recognizes the most outstanding philanthropy chairman across all Pi Kappa Phi chapters in the nation, leading the most comprehensive use of The Ability Experience programming on their campus with a balanced focus on disability awareness, fundraising, volunteer efforts and national event participation.

2024 Recipient

Jack Whittenburg, Alpha Iota (Auburn)

Under Jack’s leadership, the Alpha Iota Shapter’s War of the Roses became the most successful event in the chapter’s history, raising more than $115,000 for The Ability Experience. His meticulous planning and outreach efforts allowed him to secure eight corporate sponsorships, organize high-energy events like a dunk tank, dodgeball tournament and concert, and engage thousands of students, including all 18 sororities on campus. Beyond fundraising, he ensured the week also served to raise awareness for the disability community, leveraging social media to generate hundreds of thousands of views and sharing the mission of The Ability Experience across the campus community.
