Walter Wahlfeldt began his journey with Pi Kappa Phi on October 13, 1984, when he was initiated into the Upsilon Chapter at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

He currently serves as senior managing director at JLL in Chicago, where he leads strategic real estate initiatives for clients across the Midwest and brings more than two decades of industry insight to complex portfolio solutions.

Wahlfeldt’s leadership within Pi Kappa Phi includes more than a decade of service on the Pi Kappa Phi Properties Board of Directors, where he served as a member from 2012–17 and as secretary from 2017–22. He also served on the National Council as National Treasurer (2022–24) and currently serves as National Vice President.

In 2024, he was named the National Council liaison to the Pi Kappa Phi Foundation Board of Trustees and received a Certificate of Appreciation in recognition of his continued service and dedication to the Fraternity.

Wahlfeldt continues to give his time, talent and treasure to the Pi Kappa Phi Foundation because of the positive impact that Pi Kappa Phi has had on his life.
