He is the principal of Artes Management LLC, a consulting firm he founded in 2023 to help music rightsholders realize the full value of their catalogs. Maddux served as chapter advisor to Zeta Theta from 1997–98 and as a regional governor. Nationally, he contributed more than a decade of service on the National Council, beginning as National Historian (2004–06), then as National Secretary (2006–10), National Treasurer (2010–12), National Vice President (2012–14) and ultimately as National President (2014–16).
Since 2018, he has served on the Pi Kappa Phi Foundation Board of Trustees. A proud member of the Nu Phi Society, he was honored with a Merit Citation in 2019 in recognition of his exceptional service and dedication to the Fraternity.
Maddux continues to give his time, talent and treasure to the Pi Kappa Phi Foundation because he enjoyed his undergraduate experience as an archon and continues to enjoy his alumni service as a chapter advisor, regional governor, National Council member and trustee.
