Nathan Hightower

Nathan Hightower began his journey with Pi Kappa Phi on January 9, 1975, when he initiated into the Omicron Chapter at the University of Alabama. Hightower’s service to the National Council began in 1985 as National Chancellor, followed by terms as National Secretary (1989–90), National Treasurer (1992–94), National Vice President (1994–96) and National President from 1996–98. He later brought that same commitment to the Pi Kappa Phi Foundation Board of Trustees, where he served as vice chairman from 2010–11 and chairman from 2011–14. He has also contributed nationally as chairman of the Nominating Committee.

Hightower is a proud member of the Nu Phi Society. He received the Merit Citation in 2000 and was named Mr. Pi Kappa Phi in 2012, the Fraternity’s highest honor.

Hightower continues to give his time, talent and treasure in the Pi Kappa Phi Foundation because of the numerous life-changing opportunities the Fraternity has provided him and the lifelong friendships he has built along the way.
