Beta Eta (Florida State)

Mike Loy began his journey with Pi Kappa Phi in 1991, when he initiated into the Beta Eta Chapter at Florida State University. As an undergraduate member, he served as both archon and warden, building a foundation of leadership and service that would continue throughout his lifelong involvement with the Fraternity.

After graduation, Loy joined the national staff as a leadership consultant, continuing his strong commitment to developing undergraduate brothers and strengthening chapters across the country. He later earned his law degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and has built a distinguished professional career grounded in leadership, service and strategic counsel.

Within Pi Kappa Phi, Loy has served in numerous volunteer leadership roles. He previously served on the National Council, including as secretary, and contributed to several committees, including alumni engagement. Over the years, he has also facilitated multiple training events in support of the Fraternity’s educational and leadership development efforts. He remains actively involved with his alumni chapter.

A proud member of the Nu Phi Society, Loy joined the Pi Kappa Phi Foundation Board in 2025 and continues to invest his time, talent and leadership in advancing the mission of the Foundation and Fraternity. In this role, he continues a lifelong commitment to giving back to the organization that helped shape his leadership journey and connect him to generations of Pi Kappa Phi brothers.
