Mark F. Jacobs began his journey with Pi Kappa Phi on December 10, 1979, when he was initiated into the Delta Psi Chapter at the University of Texas at Arlington. He currently serves as president of Houston Capital, where he brings extensive leadership and financial expertise to the firm. He and his wife, Shae, an active Kappa Delta alumna, reside in Houston and are deeply committed to the service of others and underserved communities. Together, they hold leadership roles in organizations such as the Houston Rodeo, the Houston Area Urban League, the National Urban League, the Houston Golf Association and First Tee.
Jacobs served on the National Council for 10 years, beginning as National Historian (2002– 04), then as National Treasurer (2006–08), National Vice President (2008–10) and ultimately as National President from 2010–12.
Jacobs is a proud member of the Nu Phi Society and has been recognized numerous times for his service. He received the Area/Regional Governor of the Year Award in 1985, 1989 and 1991, and was honored with the Merit Citation in 2000. He was named Mr. Pi Kappa Phi in 2025.
Jacobs continues to give his time, talent and treasure to the Pi Kappa Phi Foundation because he believes in the mission of building better men and is committed to giving back to a brotherhood that shaped his life.
