Each student chapter is required to send their Archon (or his designated representative) and one additional student representative to the Supreme Chapter who cast votes for all members of that chapter. Alumni are encouraged to attend the Supreme Chapter as well to vote on the future direction of the fraternity.

During the convention, new legislation is proposed, national officers are elected and members are recognized through resolutions and awards.

In addition to the official business, the Supreme Chapter is a time where all Pi Kappa Phis can come together to celebrate the successes of the greater organization.
