The Xi Alumni Chapter of Pi Kappa Phi at Roanoke invites you to join us as we cheer on the Roanoke Maroons!
Event Overview
On October 23-25, 2026, to enjoy two days packed with events hosted by the Xi Alumni Chapter. Start the weekend off with Friday campus tours and reconnect with brothers at the evening welcome reception. On Saturday, gear up for a full day of fun with morning coffee and an optional hike. Later that day, head to Salem Stadium for a tailgate lunch and afternoon football game. Enjoy a farewell brunch on Sunday to send off brothers before the next homecoming weekend.

Attire for this event is casual, and it is a no-host event with separate checks. 30 seats available! Live music begins at 7 p.m.

Attire for this event is casual/athletic wear if you plan to participate in the optional hiking trails. Nearby Hinchee Park has 2 easy-to-moderate walking trails for easy digestion and conversation: Hanging Rock Trail is 1.7 miles, flat, easy and family-friendly. Hinchee Trail is 2.1 miles up the mountain; moderate.
11:30 a.m.-1:45 p.m. | Xi Alumni Chapter Tailgate

Attire for this event is casual. The alumni chapter will provide Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, Finger Sandwiches, Fruit and veggie tray, iced tea, water and lemonade. Bring any additional potluck items, if interested.
2 p.m. | Roanoke Football kickoff

Attire for the game is casual, with encouragement to wear maroon or Pi Kappa Phi gear. Attendees are encouraged to purchase their own game tickets through Roanoke College Ticket Central for access to the game.
