Becky Smith

Managing Director of Advancement

Alpha Chi Omega (University of Virginia)

Becky attended the University of Virginia, where she studied government and joined Alpha Chi Omega Fraternity. She went on to earn her master's degree in communications from Virginia Tech. She previously worked on Capitol Hill and in various fundraising capacities within the nonprofit sector, focusing primarily on annual giving, grants development and donor relations. She joined staff in 2018 as the senior director of annual giving and operations. In her current role, she manages all aspects of the annual fund, leads the execution of Pi Kappa Phi's annual Day of Giving initiative and supports the Pi Kappa Phi Foundation's operations by ensuring accurate data entry and timely donor stewardship.

In her free time, Becky enjoys volunteering with a local feral cat organization to aid in their trap, neuter and return efforts, watching college basketball and following politics.

Fun Fact: Becky's name and an article she wrote appear in the Congressional Record.

Becky can help you with Nu Phi Society dues, the annual Day of Giving and general Foundation-related questions.
