Bullard named Mark E. Timmes Interfraternal Leader of the Year Award Recipient

May 7, 2026

Rory Bullard, Alpha Sigma (Tennessee), is the 2026 recipient of the Mark E. Timmes Interfraternal Leader of the Year Award.

Bullard has made an impact within his chapter and beyond it. He helped grow the Alpha Sigma Chapter during a critical period, first as recruitment chair and later as vice archon. During his time in chapter leadership, he helped more than double the chapter’s size, contributed to its most successful philanthropic year to date, raising more than $40,000 for The Ability Experience, and stepped up to help keep the chapter stable during a challenging time. Along the way, he mentored the next generation of chapter leaders and helped shape Pi Kappa Phi policy through his involvement at the 58th Supreme Chapter in 2024.

His Pi Kappa Phi experience prepared him for leadership within the broader fraternity community. As vice president of member development for the University of Tennessee-Knoxville Interfraternity Council, Bullard led initiatives supporting the member education efforts of 21 chapters and strengthened four-year membership development plans across the community, exceeding the expectations of his role and council service.

Bullard’s leadership extended beyond fraternity life, including service as a Congressional intern in Washington, D.C. In every role, on or off campus, he has consistently demonstrated his ability to lead with vision and his commitment to strengthening the communities he is a part of.
