Washington, D.C. Founders’ Day a success

Over 20 brothers from 13 different chapters came out to share a meal and celebrate the upcoming anniversary of Founders’ Day.
Great discussions were had, exchanging of information for possible job leads were passed and the new DC Alumni Association was introduced. Ideas were shared around some of the proposed events and the Alumni Association role in bringing together all of our fellow brothers in the area.
Being DC, proposed was a name change to the DMV Alumni Association to further infer that this was not a DC only group but covered the greater DC/Maryland/Northern Virginia area we have come to know as the DMV. Chris Conner, Pi Kappa Phi Foundation Director was on hand to provide some insight into the current status of our Foundation and the greater fraternity as well as to present David T. Corey, National Chaplin, with a Certificate of Appreciation as awarded by this past year’s Supreme Chapter.
Many thanks to both Caleb Raymond, Theta Zeta (George Washington) and Daniel Schuler, Eta Upsilon (Miami) in helping to coordinate the event and taking on leadership roles for the new Alumni Association.
