Although Theta Nu did travel a long way from Newark, we were proud and excited to represent our chapter. On the first night we heard from Mark E. Timmes himself, who seemed more personable and down to earth than we ever imagined.
The biggest lesson we took from this weekend was advice on effective communication with the Pi Kappa Phi National Office and the alumni of our chapter. While there were ten different executive tracks brothers could take based on their elected positions, we realized that past Historians have gotten complacent, especially with the newsletter. We plan on keeping all alumni updated and informed on all aspects of the chapter from now on. When our alumni return to our chapter it will be a much more enjoyable and poignant experience.
