Puppies earn $300 per hour for Push America at Ball State

The men of the Pi Kappa Phi associate chapter at BSU partnered with their local humane society to host “Puppies for Push”Ña fundraiser aimed at serving people with disabilities by benefiting the fraternity’s national philanthropy, Push America.

For a donation, students and passersby could play with a puppy from the local humane society. Not only was this a de-stresser as students prepare for finals, but the puppies, all of which are available for adoption, get much needed socialization through play therapy. The end result was a four hour puppy-fest that raised over $1,200 to benefit people with disabilities – $300 per hour.
