The alumni of Pi Kappa Phi were named Volunteer of the Year during the Nov. 10 Benefactor’s Celebration.

Under the direction of long time advisors Mike Donathan and Travis Kennedy, . Both men encouraged the alumni to consider formalizing an alumni chapter. Shortly after the reunion of the fraternity, the alumni were inspired to establish the Pi Kappa Phi Epsilon Epsilon Alumni Chapter.

The Alumni Chapter regularly holds alumni activities throughout the year to connect their alumni throughout the state including socials and fundraisers.
They continue to contribute to the Pi Kappa Phi Alumni Hawpe-Donathan Scholarship on an annual basis. They have also raised funds for two additional scholarships – the Pi Kappa Phi Alumni Leadership Scholarship which supports their active members in attending leadership conferences and the most recent the Pi Kappa Phi Alumni Chapter Joseph F. Hunnicutt Pepsi Scholarship to honor their late brother, Huck Hunnicutt.

Members of Pi Kappa Phi alumni also serve on all three leadership Boards on campus. In addition to the Pi Kappa Phi Alumni Chapter, several fraternity alumni serve in advisory roles with the Council of Advisors which focuses on the development of the active chapter.
