The Hearthstone Mischief by Scott Gesinger

The Hearthstone Mischief, a fantasy novel, was released in late 2013 by Pi Kappa Phi alumnus Scott Gesinger, Zeta Gamma (North Dakota). In his debut novel, Gesinger paints a picture of the village of Hearthstone in the midst of a rat problem that is threatening the livelihood of all its residents. Gurril Lavoy, the novel's protagonist, and his comrades must overcome plenty of obstacles in a world filled with magic and fantastical creatures.

Sigma alumnus weds

Hays Pickens, Sigma (South Carolina), wed Katie DeFer on July 26, 2014 in Atlanta. Alumni brothers Erich Straughn (Sigma), Rob McGlamery (Sigma), and Walker Brewer (Epsilon Lambda) were members of the wedding party. Father of the groom is Walter Pickens, also an alumnus of Sigma.
