Michael O’Connell is a proud alumnus of Bowling Green State University where he was an active leader in his chapter. He completed Journey of Hope twice, once as a crew member and once as the logistics coordinator in charge of planning the entire trip. Participating in Journey of Hope fueled Mike’s passion for helping others and he was inspired to continue that service in his professional life. This has found him currently working as a vocational specialist at Harbor Behavioral Health in Toledo, OH. In this role, he helps clients find a better life by assisting them to find meaningful employment. He has continued to be a strong supporter of the Fraternity by serving as an advisor for the Alpha Kappa chapter as well as by sponsoring the Journey of Hope team as they come through Ohio.
