The Iota Lambda Chapter at Quinnipiac hosted a fall philanthropy event in support of the Travis Roy Foundation.
Travis was a hockey player for BU and was destined to do amazing things and had a promising future for the NHL. 11 seconds into his first game at BU, he was hit into the boards, and his life changed forever.
He is now quadriplegic and is wheelchair-bound.
Travis is a motivational speaker, raising funds and awareness to the Travis Roy Foundation. He joined Quinnipiac in September and spoke to 320 people about his story and how we can all learn from the worst experiences and shape them to be some of the best.
