7:00 PM I Associate Member Examination (Study Hall; location TBD.)

Friday, April 12, 2019
9:00 AM I Alumni Ritual of Initiation Team Rehearsal (Holiday Inn Morgantown Ballroom)

12:00 PM I Associate Member Written and Oral Exams (Campus Location TBD)

2:00 PM I Ritual of Initiation (All initiated Pi Kappa Phi members are invited; location TBD. After being challenged, all initiated members will have the chance to reconnect with the Fraternity ob observing our newest members being initiated into the Alpha Rho Chapter. Initiated members may come and go as needed throughout the afternoon/evening; each time an initiate leaves, he must be challenged again for re-entry.)

10:00 PM I Brothers’ Ritual Reception (Wings Evansdale–this is a chapter tradition that takes place after Ritual of Initiation! Come and meet the newest brothers, recollect stories of the chapter, and raise your voices in song while enjoying the best wings this side of Buffalo. This is an opportunity for the alumni to “educate” the newest brothers of the Alpha Rho traditions.)

 

 

Saturday, April 13, 2019
10:00 AM I Ritual of Initiation Debrief (Initiated members only; Holiday Inn Morgantown Ballroom. This is for new and old members to come and learn the meaning of the chapter’s Ritual of Initiation and guarantees a learning experience for all (regardless of chapter number). This event is one not to miss.)

11:00 AM I Annual Board of Directors Meeting (Initiated members only; Holiday Inn Morgantown Ballroom. The Alpha Rho Alumni Chapter Constitution requires a meeting at least once a year to discuss plans for the upcoming term. With the Board of Directors in attendance, this meeting will include the release of the next Five Year Strategic Plan for Alpha Rho. Student members are highly encouraged to attend in addition to any and all alumni.)

5:00 PM I 1978 Rechartering and Black Diamond Reception (President’s Suite–Holiday Inn Morgantown; hosted by the Alpha Rho Alumni Chapter President and CEO, Tom Begley (#284), this reception will honor the 1978 Rechartering brothers and their guests who revived the chapter after a 40-year absence at West Virginia University. Black Diamond Members and guests are also welcome to attend.)

6:00 PM I Banquet Reception (All brothers and guests are invited; Holiday Inn Morgantown Ballroom Hallway.)

REGISTRATION
Visit the Alpha Rho website (http://wvupikapp.org/events/rsvp) to register and pay for the event. Space is limited–hurry and sign-up now!

HOTEL
Hotel accommodations are available with an event rate at the Holiday Inn Morgantown (University Area) for a group rate starting at $110/night plus tax. Click HERE to register a room online–note that one you enter the date, the system will automatically show you what rooms are available for the weekend. The rate includes breakfast for up to four people each night of your stay.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Due to the limited number of spaces for the event, and our contracts with the hotel and other vendors, a cancellation policy will be upheld to meet all financial obligations.

1. If you register for the event before January 1, 2019 and need to cancel during that same timeframe, a full refund will be given for your event registration. Remember you are responsible for cancelling your own hotel reservations separately.
2. If you cancel between January 1, 2019 and February 1, 2019, a 50% refund will be given for your event registration. Remember you are responsible for cancelling your own hotel reservations separately.
3. If you cancel February 2, 2019 or later, no refund will be given for your event registration. Remember you are responsible for cancelling your own hotel reservations separately.
