A number of Brothers were able to join us for our annual Homecoming event and were pleased to see everyone. Friday evening we started at the Fishbowl and were joined by Director of Fraternity and Sorority Life, Dr. Matthew Richardson. It was nice to catch up with him and hear his perspective on the many things going on with Greek Life at WVU. From there, we spent an enjoyable evening at the home of Mike Turner. He brought in great catering and we also enjoyed plenty of laughs over a few adult beverages.
Saturday’s Blue Lot tailgate started bright and early and was in full swing by 8:30. There was plenty of food, drinks and laughs to keep everyone entertained. We had some Members attend who haven’t been to an Alpha Rho event in years, including Mike Winn, AP 150. It just goes to show that no matter how long it’s been since you’ve been able to be with us at an event, you always have a place. All you have to do is show up. We were also lucky enough to be joined by several Associate Members who stopped by to meet the guys. They are great young men!
It was a terrific weekend for sure! We will now turn our full attention to the Spring Rechartering/ 40th Rechartering Anniversary event being held next April. You will begin to see more information on this over the next few weeks. Please be sure to block off the dates. You do not want to miss this one.
