This past weekend, the Executive Council traveled to Atlanta, GA for Pi Kapp College for Chapter Officers.
Throughout the weekend, our exec focused on individual development within each of their roles on the council, as well as training to work together as a team and accomplish their goals for the year.
At the conference, AE took home awards for Excellence in Recruitment, and the Master Chapter Award for Member Experience & Recruitment. Throughout the next year, the executive board plans on maintaining a balanced chapter budget, increasing the amount of money raised for the Ability Experience through a Rose Queen pageant, maintaining strong recruitment numbers, and dominating our intramural sports leagues.
Looking forward, AE will be hosting the 95th Annual Founders Day Weekend starting on February 22, 2019. A golf scramble will be held at Mark Bostick golf course on the 22nd and a dedication of the house will happen on the 23rd at 10:00 AM.
