Instead, he had an amazing opportunity to spend time serving children and their families. Manny was one of six students who were chosen to represent St. John’s on a trip to ‘Give Kids the World,’ a nonprofit resort for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families. With the help of volunteers like Manny, the organization offers these children fun experiences to escape the stress of their every-day lives. Manny had a powerful experience during the trip and he plans to take what he learned back to his chapter.
