Erin Smith

Erin Smith

After receiving his B.S. from Louisiana Tech University in 2014, Erin went on to earn his Master’s in Industrial-Organizational Psychology. Since 2016, Erin has worked for the Dallas City Hall, serving as an industrial-organizational psychologist handling the selection and assessment of Dallas’s Police and Firefighters. Aside from work, he serves as the Vice-Chair of the Employee’s Engagement Committee and a Board Member of the Employee Retired Fund Committee. Erin is also Founder and President of the Southwestern Assessment Group (also known as SWAG), where he leads a network of professionals working to address the issues in the geographic area (e.g. adverse impact, police recruiting, etc.). He is active with his Theta Phi alumni chapter, as well as the current undergraduate chapter, where at least once a year, he will conduct a ritual for the associate members.
