Brad Anders
Theta Phi – Louisiana Tech
Brad was a founding member of the Theta Phi chapter at Louisiana Tech and became a Pi Alpha after completing Gear Up Florida in 2009. After graduating from Louisiana Tech with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology, he went on to serve Pi Kappa Phi as a Leadership Consultant for the 2011-2012 academic year. Shortly after finishing his term as a Leadership Consultant, Brad served as a technician for a vitreoretinal surgeon for one year before beginning optometry school. While attending Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN, Brad served as Class President for two years, Student Government Association President for one year, Student Representative to the Board of Trustees for one year, and Class Treasurer for one year. Immediately upon graduating from Southern College of Optometry in May of 2017 with his Doctorate of Optometry, Brad took the initial steps to open a new eye clinic in Ruston, Louisiana. In December of 2017, Ruston Eye & Vision opened and has been showing successful growth since. Brad is an active member of the Optometry Association of Louisiana, the Northeast Louisiana Optometric Society, the Ruston-Lincoln Chamber of Commerce, and serves as the Theta Phi chapter’s Housing Corporation president.
