The Star & Lamp is the national magazine of Pi Kappa Phi that is published quarterly and distributed to all of it's members since 1911.

The Star & Lamp of Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity, as the official national publication, endeavors to:

Serve as a forum of communication to educate, inspire, and move to action members on fraternity, Greek, and men’s issues.

Create, sustain, and rekindle member loyalty and interest in lifelong brotherhood through celebrating and validating the brotherhood, recognizing and acknowledging individual and chapter accomplishments and achievements, and promoting ownership of the initiatives of the second century vision.

Serve as a permanent record and archive, documenting the life of the fraternity.

Pi Kappa Phi is a member of the North-American Interfraternity Conference (NIC) and the College Fraternity Editors Association (CFEA).
