From the halls of the West Wing to the infield at Yankee Stadium, and from the boardroom of America’s largest corporations to the stage of the Grammy Awards, Pi Kappa Phi has made an impact through our members.
We are proud of all the men that have worked hard to live the values and meet the standards that make Pi Kappa Phi America’s Leading Fraternity. Come meet some of the men that have impacted our communities, our nation, and our world – proudly calling themselves Pi Kappa Phi.
FEATURED FAMOUS PI KAPPA PHI - JOE SEWELL
The toughest batter in history to strike out, Joe Sewell was a perennial .300 hitter over 14 seasons with the Yankees and Indians. Sewell's career rate of one strikeout every 63 at-bats is by far the best in history and his 3 strikeouts in 1932 are the fewest ever for a full season.
Did you know ... Joe Sewell made up one third of the most feared hitting trio in baseball for the early-1930’s Yankee’s? Joe hit 3rd, Babe Ruth 4th, and Lou Gehrig 5th.
