Certified Ritualist Program
The Certified Ritualist program is designed to educate
and recognize undergraduate and alumni members who desire to gain a deeper
understanding and appreciation for the values and teachings contained in our
Ritual of Initiation. All initiated members — students and alumni — are
eligible to attend.
After exploring the history and symbolism of the Ritual
of Initiation, participants leave equipped to execute and debrief the Ritual,
describe and apply Pi Kappa Phi's values to their daily lives and teach others
to articulate the deeper meaning of the fraternity's Ritual of Initiation. In
order to be designated as a Certified Ritualist, members must pass a written
examination.
Alumni members who have completed the Certified
Ritualist program are qualified to serve as a chapter's ritual advisor and can
assist chapters with the staging and performance of the Ritual of Initiation.
Certified Ritualists can also facilitate a proper debrief of the Ritual for all
new initiates. Undergraduate members who are Certified Ritualists work closely with
their chapter advisor, ritual advisor, chaplain and warden in a similar manner.
